Superintendent Presents 2009-2010 Budget
Planned Growth Reduces Spending While Assuring Progress
Superintendent of Schools Bernard P. Pierorazio presented to the Board of Education a proposed 2009-2010 school budget of $488,845,890. The budget maintains resources and controls costs with a historically low 1.18% increase over the 2008-2009 adopted budget. [Editor's Note: Since his presentation, the increase was reduced to .81%.]
